Good news is here again to all users of Infinix Hot 2 running Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS.. In my previous post, I talked about how to manually upgrade Infinix Hot 2 running Androod One Os to the official Marshmallow 6.0 OS for those that can not wait for direct OTA update on their phone . Some people like me can not use Android phone without rooting permission properly installed on it, this is because rooting permission allows an Android users to carried out some task e.g direct installation of app, changing of font, installation of Xposed e.t.c In this article, i will be guiding you on how to install TWRP recovery, root and also run Xpose Modules on your upgraded in simpler form and I promise to be well explanatory
Infinix Hot 2 Marshmallow 6.0
REQUIREMENTS:
* A PC
* Infinix Hot 2 on Android 6.0 Os
* Recovery Enabler
* TWRP Recovery
* SUPER SU for Marshmallow
* Xposed Framework for Marshmallow (Optional)
* SP Flashtools or Infinix Flash Tool
* Some couple of minutes

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLED THE ABOVE MENTIONED FILE FROM THE BELOW LINKS:

SuperSU-v2.66: Download
Xposed-v79-sdk23-arm: Download
Xpose Installer: Download

STEPS:
==>Place Super user SU-2.66.zip in your Internal memory of your SD Card.
==> Make sure you have Vcom drivers installed on your PC
==> Extract the downloaded Infinix Flash Tool,
==>Extract the downloaded Recovery enabler
==>Extract the downloaded TWRP Recovery
==> Open Infinix Flash Tool, click on browse and navigate to folder containing Recovery Enabler, select MT6580_Android_Scatter file and click start.
>>Connect your phone to your PC (make sure you remove your battery)... wait for the process to complete
>>Reboot after flashing.
>>Do the same process for TWRP Recovery but do not reboot after flashing. Boot to Recovery (by Holding the Vol Up and Power button for 5 seconds)
>>Flash SuperSU and reboot your device.
That's all guys, you can Now proceed to play store to download root checker to confirm that rooting permission is properly installed on your phone.
(OPTIONAL FOR THOSE WHO NEED XPOSED)
- Install Xposed Installer apk and reboot to recovery
- Perform a Nandroid Backup
- Install xposed-v79-arm-sdk23.zip and reboot. (Do not clear anything)
- Reboot

When ever i flash TWRP Recovery it says error tmp has been changed for this ROM.what do i do
ReplyDeleteHello Sylv-Ek zee you got the above error message because the ROM you want to flash to your phone does not compatible with your phone, to fix that error you have to reflash your phone ROM if you have its backup.
DeleteI've also experience such error before when trying to install TWRP on my Gionee P4 but at the end of the day I discovered that it was wrong ROM I wanna port into my phone

Hello Sylv EK Zee, all you have to do is to visit Infinixmobility.com to download the updated Android one ROM and then flash it to your phone using Sp tools, then check system update after a week,you must surely get the Marshmallow update
