Good day my readers atlast there is hope for all infinix hot4 smartphones users. Others have already upgraded to Nougat while some are just receiving Nougat upgrade.
Infinix have started rolling OTA updates to Infinix X557 hot 4.
Those of you that didn’t install the beta updates can now go ahead and download this upgrade directly and watch it upgrade your Infinix hot 4 smartphone to Android 7.0 nougat.
Before you upgrade, make sure you are not rooted… if you are rooted, kindly unroot and go ahead with the upgrade. Also make sure you device is 90% charged. The OTA upgrade is about 1.5GB and I’ll suggest you use Airtel midnight plan or MTN mid night plan depending on which network is fast in your location.
You can then proceed with the following steps
>> Go to Settings from your phone.
>> Tap on "About Phone".
>> Tap on "System Update".
>> Now, tap on "Download and Install".
>> Then wait for the download to complete
>> Click on install and you are good to go
>> Go to Settings from your phone.
>> Tap on "About Phone".
>> Tap on "System Update".
>> Now, tap on "Download and Install".
>> Then wait for the download to complete
>> Click on install and you are good to go
Wait for the process to complete and Android 7.0 Nougat will be smiling at you.
